Starting on Friday of last week (which happened to be field day - don't get me started), I had a little tickle in my throat. I grabbed some Halls and a Coke and moved on. I'd never dealt with allergies before but I was pretty sure that's what this was. I should add here that I also took a pretty dead to the world four hour nap after field day. It might have been the best nap ever.
I felt better over the weekend - sort of. I took it easy and didn't do much besides work and I felt ok but tired. I was still able to drag myself to spin and drink wine, so, really, how bad could I be?
Then Monday hit. I felt like I had been hit by a truck. The sore throat continued, the stuffy nose was there, the floaty heavy head feeling - all of it.
Fast forward to today - I didn't sleep at all last night, I can't eat, can't taste things, can hardly hold my eyes open.
You guys, I don't think these are allergies.
However, i'm a substitute teacher. We don't get sick days - we ARE the sick day coverage. So i'm here, at school, with a whole bag of Halls and my best smiley face attitude and big, BIG plans to get in bed the second I get home. I already put the hubs on chicken noodle soup duty.
So, you don't get pictures because i'm at work and you don't get much of a blog post because my brain is broken but please HELP because we're leaving for vacation in a few days and I NEED to be better!!!
