Stuck in the 1770's

Last week, after school let out for the summer, my husband and I left town for vacation. Not only was it our first just for fun trip we had ever taken just the two of us (nope, didn't honeymoon!) but it was the perfect way to end the school year.

This time last year, I would have been organizing guest bloggers, pre writing posts, and checking in on every social media outlet. Instead, I just left my phone in my bag and enjoyed our trip, and I do t regret a moment.

I think it's one of the things I love most about blogging - it's on my schedule and my terms. Not much else in life goes that way, you know? It's nice to know that you guys are here when I come back, but also you don't mind when I step away. So thanks, ladies (and gents!) and as a show of gratitude, here are a billion pictures.

We didn't get a ton of pictures in colonial Williamsburg because, DUH, the townspeople from the 1770's can't use a camera. But we had a blast and will be back as soon as possible!
