WOW has it been a long time since I found my way to this place. There has been so much going on in my life - in a good way. Those of us that work in the school system really come alive in the summer... all of the sudden we're kids again, with long lazy days and crazy fun nights. Well, at least my friends and I are.
Anyway, while having all of this fun I have been a little extra tired because I have added something new into my life... spinning. Do you guys remember a few weeks ago when I was all "I really need a new goal to keep me going!" and asked about spin classes? Most of you said that your butt hurt when you tried it, but a lot of people loved it so I figured hey, why not?
Anyway, I found a studio in my town that is dedicated to spin, went through my first few classes, and now i'm addicted. Like, in the studio at 5:30am addicted. Every single day. I set myself the goal of going to 20 classes in 30 days and I am WELL on my way.
The best thing (besides my butt not hurting since that first class) is that the studio I now belong to is a real community. I have friends there. My instructors are my friends on Facebook. We cheer each other on, give advice, check in on each other, and congratulate our hard work. It's really something incredible.
I have said to people that half the reason I spin is the workout, and the other half is that it's my place. They're my people. I was wondering, do any of you have the same setup, the same fun workout routines? I want to hear!
